I'm fascinated by using my hands and tools to create one-of-a-kind works of art personalized for the special people in your life.

I admire and respect the beauty of wood and the natural environment. I take pride in harvesting wood from trees that have come down in storms or for other reasons. For the most part I use native Michigan woods like black cherry, walnut, white oak, and sugar maple. It's a rare treat to work with a beautiful board from sycamore or sassafras.
